The cultural vitality of Chashan Tribe
¡§Maintaining the original appearance and potential vitality
of the tribe is the most significant factor to attract
visitors from cities, who can experience the harvest of the
ginger and taros, etc. Meeting customers¡¦ needs, the tribe
can offer bands to sing and dance or even camp fire
parties¡K.¡¨explained t enthusiastically Basuya, who returned
from the city. He also expressed his gift of art and made
the art works presenting the original flavor, corresponding
to the natural atmosphere in the field. This brought him a
sense of achievement and made him love the place where he
grew up.
Chashan Tribe immersed the tribe culture into the
agriculture industry with promotion of private lodging and
the uniform operation window. For those who did not run
private lodgings, the tribe offered jobs. The tribe made the
indigenous people share the culture and the joint-pledge of
tribe operation. To be frank, I really admired this tribe.
Participation in the church
Having the breakfast served by the church, we headed to the
joint gathering of three churches of Presbyterian Church in
Sanmei Village. We got lost and spent a lot of time before
arriving at the destination. With the story of return of the
prodigal in the Bible, Priest Lai Chao-cai to emphasize the
role of parents to guide children to have positive attitudes
and sound characteristics to be independent and have the
belief in the Lord. That is much more important than the
deformed social ethics and the inaccurate values. The youths
from each church sang hymns and the sound was so elegant
among the hills.
After that, I was surprised to learn that the translator to
Tsou dialect was the famous Senior Gao Zheng-sheng, also
known as Father of Danayigu. Sharing the lunch with every
one, Senior Gao Zheng-sheng took us to visit Danayigu Park.
